Our Small Hall
Our brand new Small Hall, part of Phase 2 of our extension project, is available for hire from 1 June 2024. It can be used in isolation, or can be hired in conjunction with our Main Hall. The adjacent Meeting Room can also be hired together with the Small Hall, for example as a breakout space.
The hall is approximately 9.8m long and 7.6m wide and has audio-visual facilities, including a ceiling mounted HD projector, electrically operated 3.5m wide screen and a capable PA system and microphone and a hearing loop that hall users with a compatible hearing aid can use to access the audio feed. Wifi access is available.
A range of activities can be accommodated, including:
- Lectures or Meetings for up to up to 60 attendees (with seating in rows)
- Meetings or Craft Activities (chairs arranged around tables)
- Exercise Classes (open plan)
The floor is an engineered timber floor with an oak finish and, there is generous headroom. An an acoustic ceiling limits reverberation and the three sets of doors on the east elevation lead out on to a grassed area and views of farmland beyond.
